SalaryPaycheckCalc

About Us

SalaryPaycheckCalc started with a badly-worded offer letter. $92,000 in Denver sounded great until the first stub showed what “great” actually deposits. The big-name calculators either hid the math, demanded an email, or drowned a simple question in ads.

So I built the tool I wanted: type a salary, see every tax slice, understand why. Everything runs in your browser — there’s no login, no database, nothing to breach. The site is supported by plain display ads, not by selling your numbers, because I never see them.

What we believe

  • Gross is marketing. Net is rent. Show net first.
  • Show the work — brackets, wage bases, and limits, not black boxes.
  • Privacy by architecture: client-side math beats privacy policies.

Who runs this?

This is not a company site. SalaryPaycheckCalc is owned and run by Pramod Rijal, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Panauti, Nepal — no company, no team, no investors. I update brackets every fall when the IRS publishes the new figures — 2026 numbers on this site are the published IRS figures, not projections.
